Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Evolute Studio Pilot handles Google user data when a user connects Google Drive or Google Docs.
Google data accessed
The Pilot may access files and file metadata in the Google Drive account that the user connects, including Google Docs content, when needed for a workflow the user requests.
OAuth scope
The Pilot requests the restricted Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive. This scope permits Drive file access required for user-requested project workflows.
Purpose of use
Google user data is used only to provide user-requested Evolute project functionality, such as locating project documents, reading relevant project content, and creating or updating Drive or Docs artifacts requested by the user.
Storage and security
Evolute Studio Pilot is local-first. Google OAuth credentials are held on the user’s Windows account using operating-system-protected local storage. The Pilot is designed to avoid copying OAuth secrets into project files, model-visible conversation history, browser storage, source code, or logs.
Project data retrieved from Google is retained only when a user-requested workflow creates or updates a project artifact or when the local application needs durable project state for that workflow. Users should protect access to the Windows account and device on which the Pilot runs.
Sharing and transfer
Google user data is not sold and is not used for advertising. Data is shared with Google APIs as necessary to perform Drive and Docs operations. If a user explicitly requests an agent workflow that requires Google content, the relevant content may be sent to the configured AI service provider solely to perform that requested workflow. The Pilot does not transfer Google user data to unrelated third parties for independent use.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Evolute Studio Pilot’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention, deletion, and revocation
Users can revoke the Pilot’s Google access from their Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents future authenticated Google API access until the user reconnects.
Users can remove locally stored connection credentials and local Pilot project data from the device under their control. Deleting a local credential does not itself delete files stored in Google Drive; Google files must be deleted through Google Drive or a user-requested workflow with appropriate authorization.
